diff leaking from breather

I have an s14 diff on my s13 and after a year withit, it start to leak from the breather, is s14 with s13 backplate, diff cooler removed etc.

I open it, new gasket and give more pressure in the spring of the breather with a nut, but make any difference.

Anyone have any clue of what is happening?

The diff is still locking as usually.

How can oil make it's way up to the breather and leak out? sounds like, erm, unusual to say the least as the breather is on top of the diff, especially as the amount of oil they take is very little.

I can only think its over filled some how? maybe filled when car was at a angle as in jacked up the left hand side of the car possibly? and/or the breather is not venting properly so leaks as pressure builds from the oil getting warmer and the breather is only vent point so leaks from there?

Today i put new oil in diff 75w90 and only 1.5L, and put 1 meter of hose in one of the oil cooler to vent to atmosphere, the result was more leaking but now from this new hose because no restriction, and the hose is attached the In an higher position..

It locks fine, no knocks or noises...

I don't understand how could this happen...
