EDIt, thinking about it, I'd rather stick to Le Mans if we can get a decent campsite

I'm pretty sure the prototypes don't run at the nurburgring.

Now Ive thrown it out there this is my feeling too - gutted if we cant get track access from the campsite but we can live with that, there might be an answer Theres also no chance of me being able to do 2 weeks away without her, and when a lot of folk tell me LM is going to be too expenseive I dont know how many could do a 2 week Ring trip either.

Im also keen to see the Prototypes as Ive got guys building them and I dont know the score with the Ring camping etc. although Ill try do a bit of digging. Anyone know someone who has done Nur24 before?

    I'm in
LeMans dates are already booked off work, but shifting back a couple of weeks won't be a problem.

The fly is in the water, the hook can barely be seen. ***** is well and truly on board for the 'Ring 24hr, the catch of the day!

If we do Le Mans it's all good as long as we have an epic drive there and back (steaks in Boulogne are obligatory!)

That was the result of 25 yrs working together changing clamps on aluminium furnaces but using man size guns and sockets not those piddly little things they gave us to play with

It was the highlight of a very good year for us Le-Mans being with the

He turned up here last night looking like a lost Viking with a 3" lift kit and 30mm Wheel spacers to fit on his Jeep . Looks rather mean now

My brother did the 24hrN in 2011 and said it was great fun, Stupid amount of cars on track. Around 200 iirc, so many they have to start them in 3 or 4 separate packs. Only GT cars though. He said camping was fun, lots and lots and lots of fireworks going off 24/7.

Dont spose I could drop him a mail for a bit more info could I? Seems we are all pretty easy either way, the only issues are lack of local knowledge and the prototypes, if he can knock one of those off for us .......... Ill have an ask about as well, Im sure Ill know a couple of old hands

PM sent. Lack of prototypes would definitely knock it for me.

Throwing a different fishing rod out for later in the year... How about the Historic Spa 6 hours?
