You mean too many people are sober?
As it's easy and relatively cheap I was suggesting this as a possible addition to Le Man's
Deacon and I considered it last year and had we managed to get 4 people it really wasn't much money - didn't happen though

May do it next year and use the micra - would cost about 26p in fuel

Just worked it out going on what i normally get to a tank we can get there and back on £70 possibly less

Following the economy theme, I'm in with a slight proviso. My car doesn't go.

I insured it with full european everything in 2011 to go to the Ring, and got bitten by auto-renewal in 2012, but just checking insurance now, and I can pay £400 less by omitting the european stuff this year (and the business use I don't need anymore) .
Assuming plans don't change so much that we're actually competing at Le Mans or the Ring , I'll be knocking off the extras for 2013

Anyone got room for me in their Micra? (or LS400 :nudge: )

I'm game for nur 24hr, and with track time before or after the event is cool for me. I've always wanted to do le mans , but hell, it sounds to me like that would be better for another year,,,,

Jon, someone needs to drive the van, if you are on an economy kick then you dont get a lot cheaper.

Unfortunately due to two of my mates deciding marriage is a good idea (not with each other) I have one stag do to arrange (shitting it atm) and the other I will have to go along to. These stag do's pretty much rule me out for any SXOC extracurricular activities away for 2013.

    Roll on 2014!

Decision is to try and get a bit of lowdown on Nur24 before making a decision .......... Im personally in favour of LM as I want to see prototypes and prefer French food to German

Something else to think about, but won't the beer in Germany be many orders of magnitude better than the beer in France?
