Christmas season....do you slip out for a drive???

So the Christmas season is here the house will be jammed packed with screaming kids and relatives so do you take an hour or two to take the car for a spin to get a bit of peace and quiet and enjoy the traffic free roads at Christmas?

There is a few guys local to me who take their cars for a drive on Christmas Day to dust off the cobwebs (some cars would only be out once or twice a year) and meet up....anyone else do the same or do any other car related things to clear the head?

You only need two tools in life - wd-40 and duct tape. If it doesn't move and should, use the wd-40. If it shouldn't move and does, use the duct tape.

And if you can't fix it with a hammer, you've got an electrical problem!

I brought the SX on this two weeks ago. A full day of driving and lunch and then dinner. 162 miles, 28 cars and 36 people. A proper day out.

That looks brilliant Mark. These are the kind of events that I'd like to have an SXOC presence at

Also, did I see you on the Tallaght bypass earlier today, about 2.30 was driving behind you and got stuck at a red light before I could wave

Enjoyed that My mini Nurburgring road has always got other cars on but this morning I had a complete run at it and didn't see another car till the very end. I wish it could be Christmas everyday....

While the turkey was in I popped out and used a fair bit of petrol in a very short amount of time. Had my food now and the beers are out so the keys are well and truly hung up till tomorrow afternoon.
Happy Christmas people. Hope your days are all good.

No, since I drive a boring-mobile now. I would've gone out on the bike but a) is was absolutely pissing it down and b) it has no chain at the moment so it'd be a bit slow.
