No, think about what he's doing. Taking an old but simple to tune-up motor and repalcing it with an old, very rare, very hard to tune motor which at best only gives another ~20bhp and the same torque.

Teerath I'm not trying to peck your head and if you really want to do the FJ then power to you dude. S12Silvia/Australia is probably your best resource for info, support, parts etc.

Basically the engine came up for sale 4 months ago and it was taken from a dr30. Someone got there before me but then that guy decided to sell the engine as it was too long for the car he was putting into and thats how its fallen into my hands. Lol
As for the dr30 i cant tell you much as i dunno if it was in this country. But if you want i can give the original sellers username on retrorides forum if you would like to find out more? I can pm you it

Engine was very strong no rattles and came from running car. But i think it needs some tlc so full rebuild in store for it

FJ20's are very strong engines so if as you say "was very strong with no rattles etc" then unless youve got money to burn I'd just fit it

I guess youd be in luck, as rare an engine as it is, there's not many in the UK could/would make use of it. I'll say 400 all in?
