quick brake bleeding / winding question z32 rears

bled my z32 rear calipers today, and the pistons have obviously clamped together and jammed in the pads, together (no disc on).

will i just be able to shimmy them apart or will they need winding?

    easiest way to do this?

will put a rag around the BMC for any excess fluid leaking out

brakes are not something I normally do myself so apologies if im an idiot

    thanks guys

Pop the cap off the bmc and you should be able to push the pistons back. Why bleed with no disc on though?

was doing 2 jobs at once (handbrake mech and calipers) didnt realise about the disc as i just did them mounted to the knuckle. realise i shouldve had the disc in now..

they shouldnt need rebleeding then, just take fluid out the bmc?

Re bleed the system and worse case you will have to relocate the pistons in the caliper if they have popped out the location, if not they just push back in not wind backs
