    What radiator?

I will soon be in tee market for an updated radiator. I have been looking at either a Koyo or a mishmoto x line. Is either one much better than the other? How well do they fit? Apparently with the Koyo the standard fan shroud fits perfectly without modification but not sure about the mishmoto.

Any recommendations/comments would be much appreciated.

    Thanks.

I've had a Koyo for years and would definitely recommend it. Fits just like standard

My Koyo radiator is my only bit of bling on the car.
but as Ben said, it fitted straight in, no hassle, and solved my fifteen year old standard radiator overheating issues.

I don't know what a mishmoto x line rad is like.

Another vote for koyo. Mine fits perfect with no modifications. Well made also.

I have a mishi x line. I have 1 complaint, the fan shroud sits slightly away from the rad, also bear in mind the vat is not included on the listed price, think it cost me about £250 posted, fair bit cheaper than the koyo n flow.
Other than that, everything else is fine.

Cheap & koyo aren't common in the same sentence. I got a good deal on my n-flo from tuning developments, pretty sure the chap I spoke to said he had a couple left.

Just to resurrect this thread a little, do those running Koyos have the n-flo version or just the n-flo R-series? Is there much difference?

Nflow is supposed to be the better one, I only have the standard style one though which seems epic do far.

    Cheers.

I just ordered one from Sumo Power - £241 delivered for an S14 Koyo R-Series - seems like a bargain!? They may have 1 left in stock, too...

I have a driftworks rad, fits well and seems really good quality. Don't know about how the cowling fits as ive gone to elec fans.

I have gone with a Japspeed radiator as its the only one i could find locally.
Costed me 200 GBP and will have it today.
Hopefully it will fit with the fan cowling since i dont wanna go with electric fans.

Disregard my last... when their website said they have some in stock, it actually meant they have none in stock. Fortunately they have managed to source some from Europe which will arrive by next week.

Still, given that most seem to charge £350 for these, £241 is an absolute bargain.

Apex currently list the radiator at £179, however it's academic as they have none in stock and no ETA on getting them in. Apex was my first choice but with none available I was looking at DW rads. I'd baulked at paying twice the price for a Koyo but when I happened across them on Sumo for only 50% more, that seemed reasonable given that most seem to consider them to be the very best on the market.

I have Mishimoto, great cooling and comes with a lifetime warranty. What more do you want?
