Recommend me some pads?
Just fitted some s14 brakes to my s13, stock disks, stock pads.
I have a s14 bmc to fit also but I'm waiting for some fittings so I can split the new abs mc for my non abs car.
Anyway, feel is nice but not quite locking the wheels up as fast as I'd like.
What's a noticeable upgrade for just front pads?
All suggestions welcome
If it makes any difference the car is on the floor running coils arms and 15x10s with 215x60x15s so nice and wide

This but a little overkill if it's just going to be road use. You could try something like a ds2500 which is at least half the cost or something like the latest versions of the ........stuff pads

Its the best pad they do for road. I love it. Works a dream from cold. And just will not overheat.

I've got them in my brembos so I am aware of how good they can be but at circa £200+ for a set there are alternatives out there for far less. The flip side of this type of pad is incteased disc wear so you might have to compromise if new discs every few thousand miles isn't in your plans

RC5+ are a lot cheaper than DS2500, and I found the RC5+ better in every way tbh
RC5+ (4047) about £100 for fronts Edit: +vat so £120
DS2500 about £165 for fronts
