And the award for the most gopping new bike prospect goes to the never-ceasing-to-amaze-how-crap-they've-become Suzuki, with this absolute blinder (no literally, blinder)

Currently we cannot confirm a production schedule. We will first assess reactions to the SV650X before finalising plans
    Yeah, good luck with that

I know right. Where the hell are they going with it? It looks old tech but not retro, and as if it's started to melt.

I was heading out on the KTM this morning but it being such a classically lazy starter, it decided it wouldn't fire into life Battery all good - and got it started now, later in the day when it's a bit warmer. I think it's the dreaded KTM weak starter motor curse. Oh well, good job I've got other machinery!

Took a little Sunday morning half-bimble-half-blat down to Stow Maries Great War Aerodrome.

Didn't stop to look around as thought I didn't have time.

Then got home and realised clocks had gone back and I had an hour to spare after all. Doh!

Still, a nice run and somewhere I'll go back to.

I had to head over to Welwyn Garden City today and almost took the bike but bottled it as it was spitting with rain and cold.

Took the Subaru in the end but did end up buying a car to replace the S13 I sold this time last year.

Its a worthy replacement I think.

My picture above got used for the Royal Enfield GB Facebook group - yay.

Might have a little run out on the KTM tomorrow since it hasn't moved in about 4 months

Quite a cool little project that.

And this has sparked my interest.

We looked at the 400 mash at last year's show. Build quality looked good for a Chinese made bike.
Given the reliability of your Enfield I'm gobsmacked you are willing to trust them with electricity ! I predict your garage will be burned down within a week.

Hey, apart from a few bits undoing themselves it's been solid as a rock Went out earlier and noticed the rear footpeg was about to detach itself

~100 miles run out to Bradwell and round the peninsula today. Cold and a little bit sketchy here and there on the roads, but glad I took the opportunity.

Out on the old RAF runway:

Should be a 'Danger; bits of bike falling' sign

Boredom / threat of alcoholism primary motivators couldn't stay in another day and crack a couple of bottles of wine out.

Felt kinda bad about not taking the KTM out but I'm still a bit nervous around it; shame really as I had such confidence in it beforehand.

Either sell it and get something else that you can gain confidence on or stick some sticky tyres on and do a track day.

If you do the latter, you will have gained back the confidence to chuck it about on the road.

The scare you had was probably nothing to do with the bike. Just diesel or oil on the road or something.

And they've gone and put it on sale. At 6 grand.

I'd guess pre registered bargains of just over 5 is all they'll shift.

Some fugly bikes have sold well before. Yam diversion, tdms, mzs, etc. I suppose the difference here is that you can still buy the perfectly reasonable looking sv650/sv650s for the same or better money
