Porsche Boxter - lots of pictures!

I've been down to Woking today to detail this Porsche Boxter today. The car was in very good condition with only a few scratches and stone ships, but lots and lots of swirls, fine scratches and some bird lime etching for good measure!

    Swirly!

I have no idea what kind of bird makes this mess!:

Some deeper scratches on the boot:

And the results after a long day cleaning, polishing and waxing:

A little too far gone to get back to new, but a vast improvement

What's the best way to clean a fabric roof like that? Other than hitting it with a jetwash...

For readily available stuff, the Autoglym hoof cleaning kit is pretty good. This one had some slight fraying which can be seen as darker patches between the door glass and the rear window. Nothing I can do about that unfortunately. Be careful with the jetwash though, if you do use one, don't get too close to the fabric.

Nice work there mate. But did you remember to clean under the motorised rear spoiler?
