As above really , spoke to a chap called "Will" who" who was the most helpful person in insurance that i have ever spoken too. A complete understanding of our cars and modifications and a high level of interest in cars.
As a rule when trying to set insurance up for a modified car you are starting off on the wrong foot with most insurance companies. Even specialist insurance companies seem to get board with your list of mods, and in general the whole thing is a complete pain in the arse. Not too mention the lack of understanding about certain modifications and what they do and don't do. Well i can honestly say this was the first time that did not happen, It was like a chat with a fellow owner. Christ the conversation was even interesting, how often can you say that about the last time you called an insurance company
They came in with a cracking quote, with track day cover at realistic rates and they acknowledged the SXOC discount when mentioned. All round superb service for somthing that i hate doing turned into a cracking chat with a like minded individual. They were not the cheapest but the level of service and the ability to easily add both mods and track day cover won it hands down for me .
Do yourself a favor and call them the next time you need cover if your experience is anything like mine you will be blown away.
