SFS hoses came today, gapped and fitted the plugs and finished off the boost solenoid piping. A few little things to do in the morning then I can start it.

Also what is the typical oil pressure on a good CA? I'd like to monitor my gauges after a few cranks before start up.

Been following this for a little while now, good work man! .

Thanks, I'll know tomorrow if my work has been good

So, engine wouldn't start yesterday. My ignition was staying on which drained the battery. That meant I couldn't crank it enough to get oil pressure.
After charging the battery over night I thought I'd give it another go. Cranked for 15 seconds, got oil pressure but. Put fuel pump fuse back in and cranked again. Didn't start. Could smell fuel.
Checked engine, injector seal leaking . I knew I should've replaced them but I forgot. On the plus side at least the compression feels good and it's getting oil pressure. I knew I could smell fuel yesterday but I though it was the full Jerry can. Never mind let's try again in the week.

New injector seals fitted, nissan still won't start. Checking for spark tomorrow other than that not sure why it won't go. Have to have a think about it

So, another few days on the car and I'm starting to really get fed up with it. It absolutely refuses to start.
Got spark
Got fuel
Checked throttle
Good CAS- tried 3 of
New plugs
Good earth's
Tried 2 ECU'S - both have code 55 (no faults)
Injectors clicking when cas is turned
120psi compression on all cylinders (not the best but has had new pistons so rings probably haven't seated yet)
Got oil pressure
Afm is good
Located battery at the front again just in case.
Things that have changed since it was running before rebuild
Carbon canister delete
New fuel pump
Bcpr7es plugs gapped to 0.9
T28
Stage 2 ecu
Boost controller fitted
New battery
If someone has any idea what could be causing the issue I'd be happy to try it. I am slowly running out of patience.
Tomorrow I'm going to check the timing, even though I'm sure it was fine when I picked it up from the builder. Also going to try and find my imobiliser and isolate it to see if that helps. Other than that I'm out of ideas.

When you did carbon can delete did you block the vac nipple?
I forgot to blank the vac nipple on the plenum once and mine wouldn't start.
Have you tried starting it with the maf disconnected?
Not much help but a couple things to check/try.

I had forgot but blocked it and no difference.
Yep tried with the maf off to, no change . Thanks though

Is the spark strong enough? Perhaps the ignition amplifier isn't doing it's job.

Possibly a bit weak I'll check if I have a spare

So don't have a spare ignition amplifier but the spark does seem normal.
Taking a multimeter home tonight and will also check the timing.
Possible problems are
A fair bit of fuel in cylinder 3
A bit in cylinder 4
Not so much in 1 & 2 but can't tell for sure.
Also weirdly my ecu light is staying on when the key is out intermittently. I had been getting a flat battery occasionally after being left over a period of time before I took the engine out. Not sure if it's related.
As I said I'm getting code 55 on both ecu's so it should be ok

have you tried disconnecting the ECU temp sensor?
also... this might seem dumb question but I've seen it happen... is the ECU properly connected? I mean, is the plug properly tighten? if it had bad connection it won't start and won't give errors...

Yep tried both

Also the red light staying on was the ecu screw turned the wrong way. Trying another dropping resistor tonight

As I have tried everything to locate the fault with the car only sparking on cylinder 1 and still can't solve it I'm not sure what else to do other than put it away in the garage until the end of the year when I will have the money to get it sorted. Right now we are still saving for the wedding so I can't spare the cash. It gutting but I don't seem to have much of a choice
