be prepared for a bigger left leg lol.... iv got that clutch and didn't quite realise how heavy it was until I took mine out. It may settle down abit after a few miles but the bite point is on or off

Yeah Iv heard that. People who have it say once you have given it some after a while it settles down. It’s bad enough with the pedal box anyway so it’s going to be terrible with this clutch in too haha

Quick query. I think the answer is yes but it may not matter.
If I'm.getting the block decked, just literally skim it to clean the face, there's nothing wrong with it. Will it need the timing chain cover fitted to be machined with it so there level.

100% yes. It’s a necessity

It did make full sense to do so. Thank you for the confirmation. Much appriciated.

I used to have that clutch I recon its what blew my left knee to bits. I would look into getting a 'nismo' clutch slave cylinder. although if I were you I would just fit a stronger gearbox.
be sure to swap those crappy Philips countersunk screws in the oil pump for hex drive ones. locktite them in also so they don't come loose.
Well eventually started the engine build. Or should I say engine tear down. Everything's apart. Need to give things a good clean down that I'm.keeping. Other bits can be thrown in the bin. And once I get new timing cover it can all go for machining

How's the build going matey?
Slowly at the moment. Been way to busy. But the engine is built, turbo, manifold and wastegate ready to go. 350z box ready to fit. Just need time to get bay prep'd and painted and drop everything back in

Awesome That's looking good mate! Give me a shout if you need any help with the 350 conversion finally got mine sorted now!
Did you go for a single prop or stayed with the 2 piece. I'm going to go with 2 piece.

Have you used a standard shifter

I’m using a one piece prop, and modified shifter. The car isn’t running yet as I’ve got some wiring issues, but it engages all gears fine and the clutch operates correctly. Have you got an S15 flywheel to go with it?
Iv used my b&m shifter off my sr box. And no iv got an sr couch and flywheel. Had the box machined. Used the sr clutch bearing with a spacer and spaced the clutch fork out

How have you manged to use the SR shifter? Did you weld the bottom section of the 350z shifter to the B&M?
Ah right. I used the cast iron clutch fork with the pivot bolt from the old box. Has spaced it perfectly too
