    Australian F1 GP

So what do we all think?

Everyone seems to be expecting the Mercs to fook off and bag an easy win but i am not sure it will be so straightforward. I am expecting a bit of a mixed bag though, maybe a Force India on the podium or even a Marussia in the points.

I'm hoping for a Merc white wash but as you say its too early to tell, Williams and Ferrari both look strong, wonder how the Red Bull's will get on is the question.

Have a nasty feeling they won't be able to complete the race due to fuel restrictions

Certainly the most 'unknown' it's been for as long as I can remember.

I wonder what the odds are on no-one finishing, or possibly all the big boys stopping and Marussia cleaning up?

I'm hoping that Williams are in the mix, would be a fantastic change in fortune for them. Of course I would like to see Ferrari do well, especially with that driver line-up, I think that is going to be the thing to watch this year.

I have a sneaky suspicion that Red Bull have got something up their sleeve and Lotus are a very mixed bag, again it would be nice if they were there or thereabouts as having a good few teams fighting it out at the top would be fantastic.

I hope that Ferrari pull it out of the bag, but I think, as does the majority that Mercedes will run away with it. I think that Williams/Massa might be high up and hope that one of the back markers gets in the points.

Think Fezza and Mercedes will lead the way. Think the Ferrari will be reliable, seems solid in testing where as a lot of the others are having heat management issues. Driver line ups strong too, if Kim smells a win he will be fired up all season.

Newey will sort the Rouge Cow soon, but reckon Fingers and Daniel the Grin are gonna struggle to finish if they are competitive.

really hope Williams do have a better season, and force India looks good too and not too radical

Roll on Saturday for the pole shootout :-)

I'd like to see Massa finish in front of Alonso, preferably on the podium.

The mercs will lock out the front row .... they will piss off into the distance ..... and breakdown about lap 20

giving the win to Williams, then Ferrari and force india

The redbulls will qualify well but drop out during the race, the ferraris will also qualify well but be slow in the race as they use too much fuel and will have to wind back the power.

Mercedes and Williams look odds on in my eyes, hopefully it finished Hamilton, massa and then button

Hope its a good race, I'd be keen to see if all the testing results will mean anything once the race starts. Seems like force india have thought they were really competitive before (2 seasons ago I think) and were shocked when it came to the actual race.

I recon 75% of the field will end up with a boost leak and splutter to a halt with no fuel.

It's not being shown live on the BBC.

Anyone know how to watch it live? Does the BBC website show live coverage?

I've got Sky, but am loathe to buy Sky Sports just to watch F1.

This race is on Sky, not on BBC. BBC has about 9 live races in total I think. First one's not until April though

Highlights are on about 2pm Sunday IIRC

    This

I refuse to pay an extra £18/20 odd to watch the F1 exclusive coverage.

    Bring back BC Exclusivity
