Strong smell of fuel

my 14a stinks of fuel most noticeable on idle and if I'm driving fairly hard is there any common things to check,

I have a nistune ecu if this affects anything?

Check your fuel filter. Mine leaked.

Mine feckin stinks of Gas....which is odd haha.

Mine stank of fuel for a few days a week ago , I assumed it was due to my down pipe blowing badly, it turned out to be 2 injector seals had perished bad and injectors were leaking! dangerous both under the bonnet and for the engine itself! new seals all round and job was a goodun. Check yours mate!

Just check injector seals? Did you replace injectors?

I didnt replace the injectors just the large O rings on all of them and refitted.

My fuel pump lid wasn't tightened so worth checking

Had to o rings go on mine
