    Which chip do I want for my S14?

    Hi Jez,

    Could you take a look at my S14 spec and recommend me what chip to get?

    Looking at your site it would appear a 1a would be most suitable?

    Exhaust:
    - Japspeed tubular manifold
    - De-Cat
    - 2.5" Straight through to back box

    Engine:
    - NGK copper spark plugs (BKR7E)
    - Apexi air filter / induction kit
    - Japspeed FMIC kit
    - Custom water line & oil line
    - Boost controller @ 16~ PSI

    Fuelling
    - Walbro 255 LPH fuel pump
    - Adjustable fuel regulator

    upto 20psi on stock ecu? are you sure its not got a chip already fitted mate?

    I've never checked, but the guy I bought it off was sure there isn't.

    I have various receipts for "tuning" modifications that were done, but none list an ECU / chip upgrade.

    It feels fairly sluggish at 14PSI and doesn't seem to pre-detonate at 18~20 PSI which I thought was weird..

    I'm aiming for 17.5 PSI as I don't fancy melting anything at 20 PSI desite it feeling a lot quicker...

    Basically I don't want to have to change coil packs, injectors or uprate turbos so I'm guessing 1A.
