Perfect need to order some oils

What would you recommend for me?

Fully forged 2.2 stroker engine, external oil cooler kit (thermo controlled). Needs good cold start protection due to 10 mile journey to work but also needs to handle abuse on track (nurburgring at the end of next month) was thinking 5w40 or 10w50.

Also what gear oil for a OS Giken gearbox, car is approximately 450hp.

With that kind of power, go for the 10w-50 in the engine.

You need a good 75w-90 for the gearbox, as far as I am aware. If you have different info from OS Giken, let me know.

I ordered some of this way back when the offer started and have to say that it is the bees knees dogs nuts or whatever exaggerated hyperbolic whatever you might like.

Although it is a 10/50 which gave me some doubts at first (generally run 10/40 in the recent past) it actually seems less "draggy" than the 10/40 I was last using and there's no apparent drop in fuel economy (which there definitely was when I used 50 grade in the past before).

There is an enormous psychological boost to driving an engine filled with oil that you know is the class of the field, confidence when putting the power on and not expecting a big bang every time you floor it... Relaxation even !

Worth every penny at full price, even better at this bargain offer. Usual Opie service, instant delivery etc etc etc.

Plus if you are putting an order together they also now sell Bilt Hamber rust converter / killer / proofing stuff as well, which if you buy enough overall to get free postage for the bundle works out at less than direct from Bilts themselves or the best ebay price I have ever found.

Glad you like the oil and the prices. The Pro S is top stuff, very well proven. Bilt Hamber stuff is flying out the door, we're selling loads more of that than any of the other cleaning/detailing products.

I ordered some and pretty much wasted 5 litres by starting the car and filling the cylinder with coolant so need to order more and I see its not on offer

Also I got sent a 240sx filter instead of 200sx which didn't fit.

Any chance of having the discount for the oil again and a refund for the filter if I return it in exchange for the right one?

That's a pain. The Pro S deal was supported by Fuchs, so they gave us the 1L bottles for the order. As we've used up all of those, I can't give out a free litre again.

Which filter did you go for (genuine Nissan, UFI, Mahle or K&N)?

I'll pm you details about the return.
