Just received a call from
Will at Greenlight and I must say I was not impressed at his attitude at all.
I had done an online quote for a Skyline I will be collecting in approx 6 weeks, so I could get a rough idea on insurance cost.
Today Will phoned for a follow up. I had explained that I dont have a full spec and I would call nearer the time for a quote.
I had previously got a quote on my old car through Greenlight, which my then insurer beat.
At this Will seemed not to happy that I went with a company that was cheaper and it may be pointless calling back as I had "rewarded my previous insurer for trying to rip me off," and the brokers might not even quote me.
I explained to Will it was nothing personal but I went with the cheapest and I was happy with my insurer as they had beat Greenlights price. It seemed like he was throwing the toys out the pram slightly.
As a potential customer I don't expect to be called and then told pretty much "we don't want your business" and be lectured from an employee as Will had seen it as I had wasted Greenlights and the brokers time.
Would be interestes to know your thoughts regardings this?
