    Insurance question

Hoping you can give me a definitive answer as I'm planning of getting some quotes with you ha guys when it comes to it next month lol.

When I got the Nissan I still had my corsa, and my 4 years no claims where obviously on that policy so I never put any on the nissans policy when I took it out.

Now the corsa policy is well and truly over those 4 years no claims are now available, but I'm dew 1 year no claims from my Nissan policy? Can I combine the 4 years and 1 year to make 5? Or am I going to have to loose the 1 year?

    Thanks!

    Hi Nathan

You cant combine the two NCB as they were earnt on different policies simultaniously. To be honest our maximum NCB is usually 4yrs anyway so you would be better just using the 4yrs on the Nissan and keeping the 1yrs Spare as it will give you the option to insure another daily driver in the future if needed.

NCB will last for 2yrs so you can keep the 1yrs NCB in limbo until you need to use it.

    Kind Regards
    Neil

Ah come directly threw you for the quote aswell then yeah?

    Thanks, yeah rota grids .

Also, what would you take as a proof of NCB? The only proof I currently have of the 4 years NCB is the insurance certificate that I was sent assuming I was going to renew with the old company. Clearly states 4 years NCB though .

Renewal notice is usually enough but the old insurer should be able to provide written proof if its needed (although its a bit more of a ballache).

like Jonny said the renewal notice showing 4yrs NCB would be fine as proof of NCB.
