The Weekender 2015 @ Rockingham 21st to 23rd August Booking Thread

So here it is folks, finally the booking thread is up for the Club Weekender 2015.

Before I start going into what it's all about (I'm sure you lot already know what to expect! )I want to say how awesome the
last few years have been at these events, each bigger than the last and this year should be no exception

Last year worked so well because everyone pitched in and everyone had a great time and
I expect no less from the fabulous members of the SXOC this time around.

IF YOU ONLY GO TO ONE EVENT THIS YEAR, MAKE IT THIS ONE!!!!
So here are the main details:

A Thread will be up closer to the time with menus and a timetable so we all know what is happening when.
This was one of the biggest bits of feedback we got last year and we listened

Quick breakdown of the costs for those of you who skim read...

A full weekend camping ticket with the trackday included will be £175

a member just wishing to do the track day itself is £150

A member just camping or a member's spouse will be £30

    What is it?

A party extravaganza with music, entertainment and maybe a little drinking. We've thrown in a track day to keep you
    all occupied too

    When is it?

Friday 21st August to Sunday 23rd August with the track time all day on Saturday on the National Track

This year we are gonna do things a little differently !!! The track day is open to all!!

priority will be given to members first and foremost , then non members then other forums who will be invited by the committee

    So how much is it?

    For Members
A full weekend camping ticket with the trackday included will be £175

a member just wishing to do the track day itself is £150

A member just camping or a member's spouse will be £30

    A members guest is £40

A non member doing the track day is £180 ( so it makes sense to pay the £20 to join and you'll get camping , food and entertainment all for £175 )

You can join or renew here www.sxoc.com/amember

So for example a member going on track and bringing their better half will be £205

A non member on track and wishes to camp and bring a spouse/friend is £260. So joining saves you £35.

We realise that this is slightly more than last year but it is still considerably cheaper than any other Rockingham track
event even before you include food, entertainment etc. the cheapest on offer is £175 and on a Friday, weekend events just don't happen!!!

So after this all you need is booze and a tent!!!!! Best value weekend entertainment ever!!!

As per last year it will be an open pit event so MEGA track time!!!!!!!!

TRACK TIME WILL BE ALLOCATED ON A FIRST PAID FIRST BOOKED BASIS. DIBS , I'M COMING PLEASE HOLD IT FOR ME ,
"MY MUMS BROTHERS COUSIN IS PAYING" WON'T CUT IT. AS THE MAN SAID "MONEY TALKS" .
This year we have 140 slots in total which we expect to fill rather quickly so don't get
    left behind

    Where is it?

    Rockingham Raceway

    Now for the good bit

Track spaces are limited to 140 so get in quickly if you would like a slot.

This is going to be the premier event of 2015 for the SXOC and I can promise you it's not to be missed.
Just ask anyone who was there at Anglesey, Snetterton, Blyton or Prescott Hill.

Now while there are no official rules it is entirely at your own risk you bring children.
This is a weekend designed for big kids with car's booze.

    So how do I pay????

You can pay by Paypal, do not pay without adding your SXOC Board name and what tickets you require
DO NOT SEND AS A GIFT, YOU HAVE TO PAY THE FEES

    nationalevents@sxoc.com

If you don't put your board name and ticket requirements I will reject the payment.
This event is too big to go through each one and sort them out individually, sadly I just don't have the spare time

Let me give you an example of what I need with the Paypal payment as I know someone will get it wrong

    Kieran_e1 1x Member track and 1 x Spouse

    That'll be £205 plus a Paypal fee of 4% (£). A total of £213.12

    Here's the small print....
This full weekend event is open to fully paid Members only, each Member can bring a spouse and/or one friend who isn't a Member.
If you have any special circumstances which don't fit in with this then drop me a PM

The club retains the rights to the track time. If for any reason you cannot use your track time the club will
endeavor to sell it on to another member for you but cannot guarantee this. Sale of track time is non transferable.

Any driving considered unacceptable by the track owner OR SXOC staff will result in your track time being ended
and no further access to this or other SXOC track events will be allowed.

    noise limit is 105db static

That's about all I can think of for now, in short, be sensible and don't do anything on or off the track which would cause any embarrassment to either yourself or the club. If you do then expect to lose your track time and/or your membership

Shouldnt that be "Kieran_e1 1x Member track & camp and 1 x Spouse" as there is a 'track only (no camp)' option? So are you going to put yourself on the naughty step now?

Anyway, paid. Track & Camp x1, £182 inc PP fees
I'm NOT the Chairman anymore, Ken was. He still likes poo though. Its not Jim either now. Ooh ooh, its now Doc!

It's a race circuit, Misty will be perfectly welcome outside the circuit owned lands but this isn't Elvington. I'll slap you myself if you bring her!

Will sort out payment in a bit but expect me there!

Well obviously I didn't want her at the circuit when its running but usually people bring dogs to the weekenders and I was wondering if bringing them was an option this time as well the track time is a small part of it

that's the maximum the track can accommodate. it will be run open pit as always with iirc max 35 at a time.

track time has never been an issue for us and I don't expect it to be this time
