The first Gran Turismo i think was one of my favourite intro's ever
For it's time the best intro I remember was Namco's Soul Blade on PS1

Eve Online - They have never put out a bad intro/trailer video ! This is the official game intro vid, but I recommend looking at the other trailers and storyline videos that have been put out as well.

Privateer 1 / 2 and Righteous Fire had good intros. I liked Righteous Fire in particular because I'd just finished the first game and went straight into it. Took me frickin ages to get that Steltek gun and some ****ers went and stole it off my ship
Very, very 90s mind.
Privateer 2 had Clive Owen do all the FMV as the lead character Lev Arris.
Loved those games. So many wasted hours baiting pirates and law enforcement

That brings back horrible horrible memories. I knew a lad that has literially spent tens of thousands on that game, and probably lost most of his life to it.
Final Fantasy music is usually very mesmerizing (FF7 & FF9).
The intro to Mass Effect 1 was good as well, not cinematic or arty but it got me excited to play the game. I bought that game on a random whim and ended up absolutely loving it
