Hi all,
Recently got the 200 and want to take it to someone who knows what they are doing with these cars that car check it all over and sort out a few little problems i currently have with it.
Im in Brighton so am looking for someone as local as possible, any recommendations I can look into?
Horsham developments are fairly close I think, highly reputable company

Not every town has an SR specialist , so you are likely to need to travel.
The number of companies who would get a pretty much universal thumbs up from SXOC people, can probably be counted using fingers.
EDIT: I'm a nob. I was about to suggest posting this in the local region bit of the board, and see who the locals have used, then I see where I've stumbled into.

If you don't have an everyday car, you need a specialist in your chosen car.
There is no mechanic who knows everything about all cars, except for the Focus and Fiesta
Brighton may have Porsche , G-Wiz and probably Tesla specialists, and there may be one who knows the SR engine as well as you want them to.
(I may be stereotyping here)
HDev may really be your nearest choice unless locals can suggest an alternative.
Im based in Eastbourne. We have a Skyline and Nissan specialist in Pevensey Bay. Serious Performance Auto's. Bought my RB25 from him, he fitted in my S14 bay and i done the rest.. He knows his stuff. Ask for Andy.
Austec Racing in Crawley might be an option, they've definetly got SR experience but I wouldnt call them specialists
+1 for Austec. They have plenty of experience with S-bodies and various other jap cars. Used to be decent but haven't been in a while and it obviously varies depending which mechanic you speak with.
Also that horsham place (actually in horsham) seemed to be alright too.
Either of those places will be able to do pretty much anything you need to the car and give you a fair assessment of the condition.
What problems are you having with the car?
Horsham Developments isn't in Horsham.
Couple of places id use, Dipsticks garage in Worthing or Drift Street Imports (DSI) in Abinger Hammer.
+1 to Drift Street Import in Abinger Hammer, currently importing my s13 through them
