Yellow Nova SR for me.
Couldn't keep the bloody thing on four wheels. Stupidly bought a GTE version after I'd written it off.
One of these stunning car wish alfa still made them.
I don't have any pics of my first car bought it in 1992/93
was a 1989 Nova GTE in Red, diamond cut 16v Calibra Alloys went like stink
I still have my first car which is a 2011 Vauxhall Corsa, learned to drive in it, used it as my first car to go to shows and meets

Got the VXR Styling pack fitted as an optional extra, then started chavving it up with the Astra VXR Nurburgring style stickers and various other ebay stickers, also got some wolfrace ultralite wheels, 40mm lowering springs, VXR Mirrors, 8000k HID's and other bits, before the swarm of unlimited edition Corsa's this was quite unique at the time:

Then after purchasing the s14 to use as my main toy, de stickered the Corsa and made it look a bit more normal to use as my daily driver:

I was originally going to get an Astra VXR after this but luckily I met a few S-Body owners out one night and ended up persuading me to also go Jap/S-Chassis

Will look for a photo.
1965 Austin Healey Sprite (No, not a Frogeye), looked like a Midget. Learned more about car control on 135 crossplys than 15 years driving VWs. Bought it for £950 in 1988, sold it 9 months later for £1500. Found out many years later that it was an ex factory racing car converted back for sale, was worth easily 10 times what I sold it for.
1990 Fiat Uno Turbo.
As with some others, my first car was many many moons ago. It was nicknamed 'The Flying Plum'. It was a burgundy red Vauxhall Viva estate, with a mighty 1.3L engine. Oh yes.
As some have said to old for pics, was more into bike racing, past test in morris 1000, first serious car was copperS WITH TWEEEEEKS
Got my first car (1.6 SOHC Civic Coupe) back in 2003
Spent every penny I made from waitering modifying this bloody car. I thought it was pretty fast at the time (until I went head to head with the TT Soarer on the end of the drive ).

I had a 1993 rover metro K series 1.1 4 speed in turquoise blue, 3 door, £250 in 2007 and was absoloutly mint.....
I suppose it's best I post this, before some other bugger digs it out of ancient SXOC archives.
That car suffered a lot, but survived long enough to get traded in against a faster 1.4S
technically not my 1st car, but had to share!

You legend I wanted a mk5 2.0 Crusader as my first car but insurance companies just laughed ended up with a Mk1 Fiesta 1.1L. That was followed by a 1.6 Cav both of which i have no pics which is pretty poor for a car nut
This is the first car I have pics of, started off as a standard 1.6GLSi Still probably one of my favourite cars as it was the first one i spent far too much on modifying
No pics of mine - it was a 205Gti 1.9 1FM in Miami blue... lasted 2 weeks then I ruined it L315 LNV I think was the number plate. Really liked that car, was really stupid to have bought it though...
Time again... I would totally get a 205 derv or similar and drive it until I had experience and no-claims... then I would have many more £s than I do now...
On the flip side, I probably would never have ended up on SXOC without those foolish beginnings.
