Meant to be a rubber gaiter/surround.
1998 Nissan 200sx s14a , 2000 std 5 speed with nismo supercoppermix clutch bn6 Sapphire Blue
A rubber gear gaitor with a circular metal bracket with 4 screws
And a smaller rubber boot that stops crap getting in where the gear stick enters the top of the box.

there in my for sale thread . you could use silicone glue to seal the underneath of the rubber so no rain water splashes up and large washers with bolts through the holes until you find the metal part

the one desa has pointed out goes over the shifter and slots on the neck off the shifter itself to stop dirt getting into the top part of the gearbox

Its the boot that fits on the spigot neck of the blue anodized plate that stick fits in. Has a small diameter that fits on stick below the weight. This seals the box at the stick pivot - stops oil being thrown out and dirt getting in the box.Originally Posted by Desa
The other gaiter seals the body tunnel to the stick. That stops the almighty draft.
