    Waxoyl/undersealed advise

What do people recommend. I want it to look clean and not messy and thick like it's hiding things. It's for my low milage s14a never welded and still pretty much looks new underneath. Was thinking of using clear waxoyl over stonguard black or just clear waxoyl alone. Doing the arches shortly and underneath and cavitys somepoint at work when I can use a ramp one Saturday

Don't use waxoil, petrol on here did some tests on one of his threads I won't be using it now. Have a look on bilt hamber website, dynax is a good range.

We wire wheeled the underside of mine, treated it then applied some underseal that's normally used on Isuzu cars at the dealership.

    Here are the results

^^^^show off^^^^^ only like that because you never drive it!

As said don't use waxoil or tetroseal stuff we used tetro on the work van and it has peeled away in places and is very thin.

I used 3m schutz, gives a very similar finish to Chris's and is easy to apply with a small compressor.

Used waxoyl for years never had any problem as long as its been applied in and on a dry area. Best result was on an old Elegeo estate emptied 2 drums of the pump on spray in to the inside of the door seals bonnet and boot. Never had an issue with rust. Just be careful the drain holes don't get blocked. Anyone that knows Elegeos know that they were pretty much a rust bucket from the garage.

Never planned on using waxoyl to be honest. I've got some big dynax s50 on the way for the cavitys.
    My plan is-
    s50 cavitys
Sills I have Wurth stoneguard black
Under arches Wurth stone guard black
Coating of bilt hamber uc clear over stone guard under arches
    Underneath wurth stoneguard black
Any small surface rust kurust/hydrate 80 treated prior to anything

What do people think to that. The car has no corrosion and I don't want to lather it in any thick shite. It won't see any winters either

Has anybody used the wurth stoneguard black? Unsure if to just leave it or put a coat of paint or clear laquer over the stoneguard also. Doesn't have to be body coloured just black. The stoneguard is just a Matt black finish and thought would look a little better with a bit of a shine to it

I used some dynax UC, wouldn't use it again. It's not clear it's actually a horrible nicotine stain yellow, and it stays tacky for ever more, never dries.

3M Schutz is pretty good for the underside, it's what I did mine in. Been on for a year and a half now with no signs of flaking or anything. It also dries but doesn't go mega hard, so shouldn't chip off. It's also quite fun spraying it everywhere with the gun
