Started tacking the panel in place then did 1'' welds until they all joined up.

Stripped, cleaned & painted the driveshafts.

Stripped, cleaned & painted the diff. Made a new back plate gasket, then dipped & cleaned all the bolts & fixings.

I then fitted all the disk back plates, cut them to fit around the Z32 disks & fitted the new brake shoes & fitting kit from Conceptua.

I'm waiting on some new brake pads for the calipers that I'm half way through refurbing.
I hope to get the diff & driveshafts fitted at some point over the weekend.
I can then finally test fit my Rota wheels or my Oem Gtr wheels.

    Thanks mate, always appreciate feedback.

Managed to get loads done today.
Finished rebuilding the diff, fitted it to the car & filled with viscous oil.
Cleaned up all the bolts & fitted the driveshafts.

Stripped & cleaned the brake calipers, stripped all the fittings & cleaned them, then rebuilt them with new pads & braided lines from Driftworks.

Hoping to get the fuel tank fitted this weekend then I can trial fit my Rotas to check arch clearance.

Today I secured the arb drop links & fitted the rear brake line T piece & then linked the braided lines to the Dw braided lines.
Then I couldn't wait so test fitted my wheels to see if the arches would need a roll. This was with my adjustable arms all measured & set the same as the standard arms. The tyre has about a 2mm clearance to the arch lip in these pics. Once the arches are rolled I will go much lower.

Looks like I might need a slight pull to squeeze the tyre under the lip.

I just need to source some steel fuel lines & new fittings then I'm going to fit the fuel tank & straps.

    Bought a palm sander & a pile of 120 & 240 grit hook & loop pads.
I spent the morning rubbing down the inner lip, all flaky paint & any oxidised areas of alloy. I then masked off the tyre & the rear of the hub.
So far I managed a few layers of etch primer before the rain started. I'll finish with a quick rubdown before I lay down a few coats of satin black paint.

So Clean! Guessing you just replaced the breather pipe and filler next for your original tank? or did you end up sourcing a new one?

Thanks Ollie, I sourced a spare tank from a mate locally(thanks Jordan) as mine was really rusty, I then had the tank chemically dipped before I painted it. I then basically used the best parts from both tanks to get the best I could with what I had.

Thanks you sir! I'm finishing the tubs this weekend & a small bit of welding in the front arch. I can then prep the front underside & get some undersealing done. Then the RB cross member can go in & begin the rebuild on the front suspension.
