    Newbie (sort of)

    Hi, I'm a new/old S14a owner. Long story, I hope you're sitting comfortably...
I used to live in Manchester, where I started my Project about 10 years, and first joined SXOC. I was half way through when my dad had a stroke, so the project went on hold, then I had kids, then about 6 years ago moved to Lowestoft, whilst the car stayed in a garage in Manchester.
I finally have a job where I have a bit of time, so thought I would try and get the project back on track...
I trailered it down to Lowestoft, fully 're'-re-built the engine, which I am now in the process of breaking in, I am trying to also bed in an ACT lightweight flywheel and ACT organic clutch!

Just wanted to say Hi, and see who was local!

Hi welcome back, and as mentioned, pics!

Glad to see it's all getting back on track for you.

Watch this space for some shows which are coming up, Duxford this Sunday if you're up for it? Cars on the Green in Bury St Edmunds on 19th June and I'll be sorting out a local meet at the end of May. Be good to have you there, with or without an SX!

I've also created an SXOC East Anglia Facebook group if you wanted to give it a like, then you can keep up with all the upcoming events etc

    See you about soon.

    Matt

    Pictures

O.k, so I have lots of pictures of the rebuild, but I'm sure you've all seen enough of them so I've tried to compact it into a few...

Sorry about the quality of the last few pictures, they were on my phone and also the car needs a wash!
I'll get a spec list when I next get time.

As you can see there is lots still I'd love to do, but at least I've finished what I started a long time ago!

    Nicely done.

I see a D-Jetro there so I assume you must have bigger power plans for it?
Z32 AFM, bigger turbo and some bigger injectors perhaps?

    Surely it's a D as he's using a MAF and not a MAP sensor.

EDIT - you're right I was being backwards

Thanks guys, it is an L-Jetro!
I do have lots of plans, but my first task is to break in the engine, clutch and flywheel and sort out any little issues between now and then! I haven't even touched the suspension, bodywork or wheels yet so it's got lots of scope.
Let me know when and where the meet up will be in May and I'll do my best to make it!
