    S14 air con removal

So I've removed the aircon on my s14 so I can't fit a high mounted intercooler, just wondering if I have to loop the above hoses together? Or blank them off individually? Or just leave them as is?

The simplest thing is just to individually bung them. I ran the car for 3 years like that. I've just had a tidy of the engine bay and gone the whole hog by removing the evaporator and putting grommets in the bulkhead.

Oh so I can get rid of that bit inside the car too??? I thought that needed to stay if I still wanted to use the blowers for hot and cold?

And why crying auz200sx? We live in the uk, aircon isn't necessary lol

Yes. The plastic box that houses the evaporator is removed. The evaporator is taken out. Cover any holes left by removing the evaporator. Put the plastic box back in place.

Does the plastic box have to be refitted? What else does it doe other than house the evaporater?

Yes it does. It houses a sensor which I just left in place. I used grommets and tape to blank any holes left in the box by removal of the evaporator.
The box itself must be replaced as otherwise there will be a huge gap in the pipe work air circulation system.

Which part have you left open? The air con pipes as they exit the bulkhead. I guess that wouldn't be a problem. I just initially bunged mine to stop crap falling into them and air con oil leaking out.
