    Sr20de - t

So my PS13 was originally an SR20DE auto from the factory, but now a manual SR20DET. So I assumed it had a swap in Japan before it arrived in the UK, although after looking into it a bit more I realised the intake manifold is from an NA I believe. It also has 52F stamped of the head which is an NA head, so I'm guessing it's the NA engine with a T28 bolted on...

After having it on the dyno we found out the AFR is all over the place, closer to what an NA should be rather than a turbo, which now kind of makes sense.

Main question being is there any internal work needed in terms of compression ratios or anything, or just a decent map needed?

As you can probably tell, this is my first SR so it's taking me a while to get my head around the differences..

In all honesty it does just look like a straightcam sr20det and inlet!

    Have a read here bud-

The 52f head is from the sr20det red / black top straightcam engine of which have slightly larger valves fitted.

Someone has put an adjuster screw on the FPR. May not have adequate injectors and not be properly chipped.

Got a split in the idle hose, seems to go past the jube clip.

Increasing fuel pressure to compensate for undersized injectors means it will need a custom map with K value set to whatever the notional size of the injectors are with the set fuel pressure.

Time to crack open the ECU and see if there is a daughter card in there.

Or someone has wasted money on an adjustable FPR that is set to stock fuel pressure.
