2004 Daihatsu YRV Turbo - For Sale - Bargain £1250

    For Sale

Daihatsu YRV Turbo - Business vehicle forces sale.

    71k miles
1.3 Turbo 130ps 130NM (in a 930KG car this really shifts!) K3-VET Engine totally unmolested and recently had oil and gearbox service by Seaview Performance.
Brakes - Recent replaced Green Stuff pads up front and shoes on rear - Fitted by Seaview Performance
This a 4spd tiptronic with two sets of buttons on the wheel. Can easily be converted to manual with a Sirion gearbox if you wish
JDM Speed governor is still fitted but on a track it is like hitting a wall so there is much more to give

    Suspension
Front springs were replaced in 2013 with a custom rate that makes the car handle much better.
    rear is standard

    Wheels
Team Dynamics Monza in white 15x6.5j - Centre caps not present. Because have you seen the centre caps!?
Space saver in the boot is unused IIRC
Tyres all have 3mm+ left on them but are a mix of 195/55 R15

    Interior
Standard, there is some damage to the interior plastics from a previous owner but they are common parts with all YRV's so easily sourced froma breaker. Also I have the optional parcel shelf pack to fit which is included in the sale.

    Body
OEM Turbo Bodykit fitted and this has the glass roof from the factory too.
Horrible original Stickers form side removed for the as intended JDM look.
Little ropey round the edges and needs some love - Bit bubblicious on the arches
Sills repaired for last MOT so structurally grand.
The front fog light on the NS is smashed but I have some to replace the pair which are included.

    Bad bits:
As mentioned body needs some general love.
Fog light needs changing but parts supplied
Currently has not got an MOT
Tailgate release sticks and you have to push it back. Spring has ceased. Common fault on YRVs. An SXOC keyring is useful we found.

2 keys, 1 remote fob present

    Pricings!
These go for £1700 so I am looking for a very reasonable £1250

Car is located in East Durham, SR8

Any questions just drop me a PM

Service parts like filters can be a bit of a sod to get hold of, yeah. You have to give yourself time to get them via Germany (ebay.de) or from Asia. Oil filters are okay with UK stock readily available. Brake pad upgrade grab some EBC green stuff (part # Dp21691) - around 35 on Ebay and are wayyyyy better than standard. But the box filter is the real problem item to get hold of. If you are on FB there is a great group called Daihatsu Performance Enthusiasts. Couple of very knowledgeable guys on there with stock piles of parts and links to Malaysia if you need them. I also recommend the Hong Kong YRV club (again on FB) as they are a great bunch and have ways of keeping you moving

Also remember that the fuel cut on them is savage so before you do any breathing or flow mods you have to get a fuel cut prevention device. Recommend Nathan Munn's on the DPE FB group. He sells a cracking safe unit used by most modded YRV-T drivers

Nice one mate. Never knew anything about fuel cut. Will look into asap. I may just go down diy induction route as it may actually work out cheaper long term.
