    Zenki s14

    Hi everyone.

After selling my mk1 mx5 turbo i found this little beaut. I am only the 3rd owner as it belonged in a previous family til i purchased it.

It came totally standard so was a great base to start with.

The first thing i did was put some 'drift' stickers on haha.

Then i added the coilovers, (apexi n1's) and dropped it nearly to the max.

    Next came the intercooler.

I then custom made the exhaust system apart from the Japspeed shotgun of course. Sounds epic with the 3" straight through system on.

I recently swapped my rear lights for s14a ones as i prefer these and I'm going to be changing the rear bumper for a jdm spec one. Then on to the wheels.

Good progress, does that shotgun exhaust not make your ears bleed?

it is a tad loud, too loud for the track which is why I'm thinking of getting a butterfly system or just bungs for it.

Yeah I thought my car was quite damn loud even at idle, but then when you were driving off, I wondered how you put up with the noise haha. Cheers for trading lights mate, I'll make sure to check back on your build thread.

Oh I also ended up going completely sideways out of a roundabout on the way home in the pouring rain, I knew it was going to happen sooner or later.

Haha it is loud, sounds awesome when it bounces off the limited when spinning in the rain. Yeah driving an s14 in the rain going sideways in inevitable.

Hahaha yeah it looks pretty weak, once you get a nice fat set on it'll transform it completely.

EDIT: Forgot to say, since you've slammed it keep an eye on your tyre life if you haven't bought any adjustable arms and had a full alignment. They will disapear before your eyes

Apex bushed alignment arms seem to be recommended constantly and look to be the best arms you can go for if it's going to be a road car.

You can find them under Hardrace arms as well. They're the same thing but re-branded.

Amen I know the feeling I searched hi and low for mine and found it in a barn just around the corner of all places, owned by an old lady who was the second owner from new and she continued the 5000km (not miles) KM services as required mostly through Nissan until she stopped driving about 8 months before I found it. Too fast and too low apparently. She's pretty clean

    Ps love the seats.

Well I'm only the second owner of my zenki. Was kept in the family from new. Has full nissan service history too and didn't pay that much for it.
