Way i see it is if i do the head build, put it back together and it has big end knock then it was a waste of time.
Not 100% sure what i will be doing with it yet. Either keep hold of it or sell it on once it's all tidy and running healthily.

So for a solid 13 only ever had 2 patches of rust cut out and new metal welded in.
Clean bodywork
Rebuilt ca18det with new be bearings and genuine gaskets throughout.
Rebuilt head
Fully running with 12 months mot
What sorta price we looking £3.5k
Also has saab fmic, apexi super intake and unknown (im assuming stg1) chip

I think its a special part. The is a spike on the back that fixes to a false nut. Don't know how else to describe it. Its a kind of nut but has no proper thread inside.

Removed all of the auto gearbox wiring this eve and had a bit of a tidy up in the bay.
Front x-member has some surface rust so will clean that up and give the bay a good wash before the engine goes back in.
