    Bit confused

Called the guys at green light today and apparently they can't insure a 200sx which I find laughable guy didn't take postcode reg or anything just asked what car and roughly what horsepower and said he wouldn't be able to help and to try sky or Adrian flux surely that's not the right attitude

Green light can be a bit fussy or specific when it comes to insuring you depending on how long you've had the car, last time you drove it etc.
Simple answer is try again next year

Sky lost both my cars now due to costs. Shop around every year dude it's the only way to keep competitive. I'm sure green light will quote you happy next year.

Pm Neil and ask for an explanation if you are a member, I expect he'll at least go to the trouble of explaining the problem and probably giving the call centre jockey a slap for not doing his job properly.

This is odd, insured mine a couple weeks back with no issues.

I ****ing hate insurance companies. Your loyalty is seldom rewarded and a blame passed on to the underwriters.

    What does underwriter mean ?

It means the company who takes on the risk. This us what most people mean when they say insurance company.

So who is it you ****ing hate ? Brokers or underwriters ?

If its brokers, just deal with direct insurers I.e. underwriters who sell policies to the general public.
