Slight flutter after re-fitting recirc normal?

Just wondered if anyone else has this or has experienced it.

I re-fit the recirc valve on the car at the weekend, but am still getting a little compressor surge when coming off throttle. It is less frequent than it was, and not quite as loud. Is this something to expect? The car does have a pod filter, have heard that can make a difference.

Are you running higher boost ? Maybe the stock valve can move enough air through it

Im going to double check the actuator tonight, as far as im aware and the previous owner stated, it is a stock actuator and the car is running stock boost.

Would higher boost help with recirculation, as there is higher pressure air pushing against the valve?

I was thinking more the opposite the higher pressure in the pipework means more volume of air for the small valve to get rid of with higher boost

Im running an OEM actuator, so standard boost.. is it possible that if pressure is not high enough somewhere, i.e. due to a boost/pressure leak, and the piston in the recirc valve is a bit sticky, that it is unable to vent through it?

Id imagine id notice this though when driving..
