Events you wish to attend as a club in 2018

2017 was a bit quiet at some of the shows for sxoc compared to previous years! So are there any shows in particular you'd like to attend as a club in 2018?

    -Japfest
    -Jdmcombe
    -Japshow
-Wings & wheels @ dunfold park
    -Japshow finale
    -trax

Any more that you would like added to the list?

Added trax! Jap performace do they have club stands? Thought it was an invite only sorta event?

Also what we need to bear in mind is that people will actually attend as i wont organise a big event for just 10 cars.

Just had a look and pretty sure it said club stands. But yeah, need to see how much interest there is in the events.

Goodwood Festival of Speed plus a night or two camping would be great.

Nurburg would be good but would need a few heads together to organise it!

Goodwood would be awesome but can only go as a group amd no stand unless we have a few grand to pay for a 10 car space inside the event!

I'm happy to not have a stand at goodwood as don't have a car worthy of it anyway. Just want to go.

It's not too bad, if we do it as an SXOC trip. There are good campsites there that have been used before, and if we take the van as last time there is power, cooking, fridges etc.

The track element organises itself, people just purchase tourist session tickets themselves for the laps they want to do.

The decision is whether to camp or guest house it. Both have advantages. There is a great guest house in Adenau near the track bridge where large groups can stay, owners are enthusiasts and they have bbq outside etc for you to use yourself. Is also within 2 mins walk of great viewing areas of the track, some rooms have views of the track itself, is also within 10 mins walk of centre of Adenau, the best place to stay, has good pubs and food places.

Camping is a little more remote, but then again you take all the food and beer to the camp site, although would probably need the van as well, and is also more sociable. Standards of camp sites are high and nice facilities blocks etc.

    Both are great options

Yep llandow was good as it was reasonably close. Although yeah I do appreciate they are a nightmare to organise with the amount of money they cost and people have to commit that money.
Also alot happen on a weekday

Where is this place mate? Me and a few friends are planning a trip of our own and this sounds ideal to stay at.

Make sure you stay in Adenau, best village to stay in and can walk around nice selection of pubs and food places, Nurburg itself is a hamlet of a few houses and not much to do. The track passes through Adenau and you can walk onto some great embankments for viewing. As well as this hotel there are also some apartments nearby.

The only reason to go to Nurburg itself is for the Pistenkluase a great pub/restaurant.

Adenau is in the middle of superb roads as well, if you go uphill opposite the supermarket and beer market, to head to the famous "bus stop" viewing area the road up there is almost as good as the Ring itself
