Just thought I'd say hi as new
Joined this page as currently doing an engine swap (sr20det bent cam) into my classic subaru impreza. Car is used mainly for trackdays but still will be used as a daily every so often

Hi, Welcome to the club, post up some pics if you get a chance, I've always had a soft spot for the impreza!

cool project, seen plenty of scooby's converted at arena essex king of the ring drift events and they do very well
need front end mods for more steering lock as they can loop out easy when getting a wide angle
the rear diff can take power, but iirc the outer cv joints can fail
the japspeed 2jz scooby works well, check that out for ideas

    Nice

I had a ride in a mates Classic Scoob at Spa the other day and Id forgotten how good they were, this one happened to be running 500+hp on a GT35 and 265's all round

More parking and Id have one for sure, an SR one could be pretty good fun but Id look into sorting the lock out at the front

Cheers guys to be fair I'm not going to be doing a great deal of drifting with more trackdays. Plus going semi space framed on the front mocked the engine in there today definitely need to lower and chop the subframe
