Ignore the rust on the discs. Car has been off the road a year. Just been put back together. See my project thread. Going for MOT at the weekend

2 of them are brand new. 1 was rotten although it had 7mm tread so that git changed and one of the rears was tread bare so was replaced too.

Looking good mate! You had them fully refurbed? Doesn't look like the standard silver

They look fantastic, I've wondered what colour to go with as and when I get mine refurbished and that would definitely be on my list.

I also went for 225/45 at the front and 245/40 at the rear. I would've preferred not to go for a stretch on the front but the tyre clipping the coilover made me have to go for the 225. I think when I next have to change the fronts I may either try going for a 235, or try a different brand, as like earlier stated I have Michelin Pilot Sports on there and they are definitely a little bit narrower than some other 225s. Uniroyal Rainsports are definitely a tyre I'll be looking into!

Mine are pirellis and like the look of the 225 fronts there isn't much of a stretch hardly anything really. The 235 45 that we're fitted looked a bit too big so maybe go 235 40 if you don't like 225

Have just refurbed my R33 GTR to gunmetal finish and fitted new Uniroyal Rainsport 3 225/45r17 all round for the winter, as don't want to be tramlining/aquaplaning on the motorway with the 255/35r18s I usually have on. There's a bit of a stretch to them but don't look too severe. Would highly recommend these tyres and at these sizes good value too.

Cheers- Will take some photos tomorrow and try to post up- doesn't help its dark when I get up and dark when I leave work- maybe give them a clean and take them on Saturday. Did the refurb myself with some rattle cans from Etech- after alot of prep- surprised how well they turned out.
