So the system will work fine with S14A coils & loom but S15 ECU?

No adaption needs to be made or anything?

I've ran both a power FC and currently running a Link G4+

Literally worlds apart, technology advances etc. The power FC is a good ecu, but its very limited in certain aspects.

The Link has so many add ons its un real, you can customise so much.

Mine is set up so i have temperature controlled rev and boost limits, so the engine doesn't have full power until the cars at operating temperature. The ecu is also conntected to my AEM wideband gauge so it can bring in safe maps if the gauge goes major lean. I've also got fully functioning boost building launch control set up on my ecu which builds 1bar at 4.8k (with epic pops and bangs). You can also have flat shift enabled if you install a clutch switch on the pedal, and traction control if the car still has abs etc... The ecu also has something called transient ignition retard, which is primarily for drifting when you're on and off throttle very quick, the ecu automatically retards the timing a couple of degrees to prevent knock which most commonly happens at those points whilst drifting.

Oh and the software is free to download, so you can update your map whenever you like and log the files to send back to your mapper if you have any issues.

Have a look at omex systems, omex 600 is a very good 4cyl ecu, the 710 has a few more features but the price reflects that

Possible new thing on the market is the Link Kurofone. (http://www.linkecu.com/products/wire...s/g4-kurofune/)

It basically uses the HKS F-Con lead to give you a direct fitment Link ECU.
