Not bad mate, you? Have I missed anything in the last few years? I'm a bit out of the Japanese scene now. I assume you're still balls deep in the same project? The 200 I mean...

Still working on the sss Martin?

You haven't really missed anything other than the falling forum useage with things seemingly moving over to FB slowly.

Well I aint on Friendsbook, so that's me out the question. I'd have though the bulletin board way would have remained. Good to track topics and find older posts. Kids know nothing these days

I sold the Datsun's mate. I did my back in bad last year splitting a disc so thought it best to simplify my shit - I then realised I had too many cars and a lack of desire to maintain them.

So what's the plan with the Volvo?

Sucks to hear about your back. Hows you feeling now?

Plans are fairly straightforward tbh, light refresh here and there with some hopefully tasteless mods thrown in along the way.

The red 1 in my first post is my main inspiration

That could be one of the tasteless mods

Cool little vid. Deffo an inspiration for mine.

Was talking with Pablo yesterday about the benefits of going air ride on this, its never going to be a track star but just think of all those internet points I could win for continually parking my chassis on the floor! Think it will be done at some point.

May have jumped the gun a bit seeing as I haven't actually collected the Amazon yet but did a buy for a replacement motor/trans

Gonna be jumping the V8 bandwagon with some proper oldskool American filth which will suit the character of the car very well imho

    Over 350 burbles I hope

Much better suited than my previous plan imho, think you agree with that too Pabs.

Need to pick the Amazon up in early Feb if you're up for a trip/sedate drive back

The Amazon adventure went without a hitch

700 mile round trip to collect the leg-end that is Pablo, then onto the Quantocks to collect Mabel the swede then back to kentishire then back home.

Mabel performed brilliantly the whole way back.

    Lol,

He was a bit but still had all his marbles. Came across as a bit of a wheeler dealer but scottish with a hint of country bumpkin about him.

Really nice guy tbh, intending to pay a return visit when its all done as he wanted to be kept updated on the project.
