I thought the modded subframe and arm would have been in worse condition that it actually was. So I won't be repainting it although colour combinationis a bit out there lol

So I sold the r154 as I fancied 6 speed gearbox and had this plan to go BMW gearbox (gs653dz) but after further research I was horrified at the thought of having such short gears on the road so after a lot of pondering and a bit of lucky timing I was tagged (thanks jonnymac) into a for sale thread from Mr Mike Marshall selling this Collins adapter kit and everything needed to do the swap. So after a chat with Stuart egdell (team redmist) I jumped on it!

The gearbox is now fitting in the tunnel but I did have to modify the linkage a fair amount to get back into the shifter hole! Anybody who said they fit (maybe different on back of a sr20) was using the term very losely!

I've done a few other bits but not had time to get the photos up yet

Made up a up and over linkage to sort the overly long gearbox problem

Did a little bit of painting!

Thanks dude. Im doing my best to get this car sorted but I forgot how much work was involved when I built the last car and now I have a little dude to ocupy my spare time it's taking a while. The 350z box that I installed has also added weeks and weeks on trying to find a nice way to keep stock selector position with the box behind the jz!

    I will prevail in time!
