Not much in the way of updates from the bodyshop, but I've now got the second piece for the parts pile, 345mm Wilwoods!

Mansize brakes, keep up the good work
loving the build. some amazing fab work. how come you've decided to keep the oem side repeaters in the front wings? would have thought you would have ditched them considering the amount of work thats gone into them.
Certainly are!
No reason to be honest - just didn't see any need to get rid of them

Few bits to update on, overfenders have come on a bit, they're now a close to perfect fit, and are now in final primer:
Front and rear bumpers have been fitted up, they've both needed some adjustment:
Then the shell is in final primer too!
Another brilliant update! That colour is stunning!! Great choice!

Such a nice colour, had thought about getting mine done in a similar colour but the new engine stopped that...
1998 Nissan 200sx s14a , 2000 std 5 speed with nismo supercoppermix clutch bn6 Sapphire Blue
Fair play, this is absolutely stunning work. if I had the time, the ability, the tools & the will power....... it still wouldn't look as good as this haha
Been following the updates on Big Bears fb page. Awesome fab work, esspecially those front arches.... Also that colour is stunning!
Lovely colour bud. Can't wait to see it all back together. What colour is that? Is it an Audi colour?

Awesome build man, I'm currently trying to sort out making new pieces for the rear subframe mounting plate and I'm struggling to come up with a piece that will fit.
The picture I've added is the piece I'm trying to make. Any tips? (Apologies for rewinding your build thread abit)
And so, finally, the paint is finished!
Went to see it today, first time I've seen the car since it left Steve's, and it looks amazing! The colour is so good, the front wings Steve made are something else - and now im too excited to get it back and start cracking on putting it together!!

Absolutely stunning! Is the colour underneath on top of anything rust preventative related?
Yeaah - the paint is over Gravitex underneath :-)
We're going to grab some pictures underneath when we pick the car up next weekend, getting it onto the rollover part of the jig is much easier with a few people, and I'd rather there's a few people there to do it just to be safe!

Wow......
Okay so update time!
It's been a long time since the last update, but we got the car back, unfortunately it then had to go back go the bodyshop for some corrections.
Stress is over now though, it's finally back!!
We've fitted some blocks on the underside for axle stands and to jack off etc, to prevent needing to go straight onto the underside of the car. These blocks are actually from an e46 bmw, just a tab on the back of them need to be ground off so they sit flush!
One of the first jobs was then to make sure all the cavities (sills etc) are protected. For this I'm using Waxoyl - just picked a hand sprayer and 2 x 5ltr tubs up, pushed the long hose into every hole I could find and sprayed! It's such a messy job though
Now it's just a case of remembering which things I took apart last! Accelerator pedal, clutch pedal and cylinder went on after giving them a clean up, passenger door internals are back together, and I've made a start on the drivers door (just need to source some parts as some of mine aren't saveable!)
And, just a few more pictures of the car in the daylight when it was on it's way back!
Nice colour there, looking forward to seeing it finished
Finally after 2 years since it was stripped, there's parts starting to go back on!
Started up fitting behind the dash. Started with the heater unit, won't be running aircon, (it'd be a squeeze with an rb26 in there anyway) so I gutted the aircon box and fitted it all up.
Yesterday I started on the fun of making sense of the wiring and refitting..
On that note - has anyone moved their fusebox from the engine bay to interior? In the glovebox etc? Hit me up, I need to do the same on this :-)
