BBC's F1 testing feed keeps popping up with shit like 'What's the World Champion up to?' and sharing his social media selfies - FFS he was barely charismatic enough when he was actually in the series; he has **** all charisma outside of it.

Woohoo Formula 1 is back. Gutted I couldn't get tomorrow off. I'll moan about it being boring, the rules are stupid and there's no overtaking, but I'll be there Sunday morning at dark o'clock and I'll be in front of the telly for every race.

Yep. With him saying Ferrari are going to win he can just look surprised when he ends finishing 15mins ahead of everyone else

LAp record has to be broken. Merc aren't even running full power yet and he is a 10th off

Has the F1 thread died already?

Fairly boring race Ithought. Even without the strategy error seriously doubt Lewis could have won. The horse is quick.

I fell asleep. It's good that early signs point to Ferrari closing the gap, but I don't think the new cars or rules have made any difference on the racing. It was a strategy call that made the difference.

You cant tell after one race on a street circuit thats not easy to overtake on. Vettel is quick, Kimi isnt Bottas isnt far of Lewis either, can see it being a good season.

Oz is always a b it formulaic.

When it gets to the proper circuits, especially the traditional fast ones I think we will see Mdercs dominance shine through.

Good to see others in the mix, questions over RBR so far!

Yer they were expected to be much closer, they might shine at tracks like Silverstone with the fast flowing parts. Monaco might also be a good one if they can qualify on the front.

I saw the highlights on c4, not sure who the main commentatory is but I hate him, dont have sky anymore so new to this team, apart from DC. Reminds me of the massive tw*t Jonathan Legard.

Good to see ferrari win but as others have said could be a flash in the pan.

He isn't great is he. Not as bad as Legard though. My favourite pairing was DC and Brundel.
