So after selling the house I had a little spare funds.
I decided to spend a little on the 200.

There is nothing wrong with the current loom or coil pack set up.

But fancied trying the R8 Red coil pack conversion.
I bought the full wiring set up and resistor bypass from someone on here.

Should arrive Monday / Tuesday time.

The car has been really reliable after doing all the work. Recently.
I like the ssqv sound and quicker spool.

So a few updates to so with the 1
    200.

The alternator gave up on me and I have the guys at slide a msg to see if they had a second hand one in stock. Which they did. Fired it in and worked for a day or so and died again.
Called garage d, got a recon unit instead. Now running great.

The coil packs and loom arrived and was a ten min job to fit. It fired first time and performs well.

After all this the mot had lapsed so after fitting the horn button I noticed the rust on the turret was getting a bit shit. So I've asked the garage to patch it for mot.

I'm going down to Miller mods soon so he can tub the front

Hoping to hear back today if it has passed its test or any other work that needs done

I modified my own loom. Not that hard if you are handy with a solder iron. Also hacked my resistor pack thing and soldered some wires in. Check out my build thread for details. Could packs were around 30 quid each. I didnt do it because anything had failed, but I just wanted reassurance that it wouldn't fail and coils are also easily replaceable.

Fingers crossed it all passes fine! Shame about the alternator being a pain.

So after the mot test I took her out to a coffee and cars tgibg that happens locally in Inverness once a month.

Great meet, an s13 and s14a were there.

Got to work and fuel pump died.

So in the phone to driftworks and got a new walbro, gt50 wheel nuts and a new nardi wheel.

Swapped that over in the shopping centre car park. I got some looks doing that.

Started no problems so it was defo the pump.

I've got the car in for an oil change as I cha he'd it every 3/4k

One thing I've never had an Sr die on me.

So the car will be going on drift my ride on Tuesday so Craig gets a spin in the slightly underpowered s14. I'm so used to skidding with more power but it does the job. I'll post up the link when it's up.

Also made an offer on a set of S15 rear bench to match the fronts. But will see as they are going for stupid money these days.

Currently running well, I love this colour

Solid effort changing your fuel pump in a supermarket car park. Like how you bought a new steering wheel when you needed a fuel pump
