I'm super impressed with RHDJapan . 3 days to the highlands. I don't normally get deliveries from England that fast .
So the prop spacer arrived for the non abs diff.

Spacers for the rear arrived too. I'm like a kid at Christmas .

    Downpipe ordered from japspeed too.

    Slowly coming together

Still waiting for a few things to be delivered .

The spacers to be perfectly honest are the worst purchase ever. Stay away from this brand.

    £20 cheaper than H&R.
Design flaw means you cannot fit a socket on properly to tighten them . You only have like 3 mm of socket to tighten.
The nuts are also not square. When spinning the nuts you can see them wobbling about.

So very poor indeed . I've sent a message to return these as I will not be confident drifting on these.

So looks like I'll call driftworks for some next day bad boys

Fitted an eBay washer bottle today .
Swapped out malcor clamps for jubilee clips that I had as I hate them.

Swapped out old cheese bolts from driftworks leather wheel with new ones they supplied.

Yeah man . I'll take some pictures tomorrow.
Same as the one I bought for the s14. Just slid in between the plenum and strut above the fuel filter .

    Deliveries today

I bought an extra spacer from Japan. For Stevie b and he sent me these as he went mega fibreglass

Oil for the diff from garage d

    Before

    After

I think I might smoke them , will see .

Stevie also sent me a sticker for the car

    Driftworks 25mm spacers

Thinking of MOT time I have purchased these : £100 for the full set.

Real cheap for almost OEM sills .

Will get the exhaust and spacers fitted in the next few days . I will have to heighten the back due to the poke and size of the spacer .

So rear wheel spacers went on yesterday from driftworks . Much better quality and no issues with bolts

The issue now is that the studs are longer than original . So my internal drive nuts work but only leave a small bit of thread to tighten and loosen that I do not like .

After lowering the jack the rear arches sat on the tyre so I have to raise the car up for now until I get new tryres that are slightly stretched.

One side come off no problems. Other side I rounded one of the tuber nuts and gave up.

So it's currently an ornament outside my house as I can't drive it until I get new nuts and somehow remove the old nut.

    Anyone have any advice ?

This is how it lookes with the spacer and the car heightened

So I finally got that nut off.
I used a 17mm socket over the top and applied pressure at an angle. It took a hold and loosened the nut.

So adjusted the ride height to allow the car to move .

Replaced the fuel filter for a z32 one.

Checked the oil and it was shiny and black.
I really don't like the look of it so Time for the essential oil change .

I've ordered longer wheel nuts to sort the tightening issue

S15 seats have been picked up thanks to Derek! Handsomdez. So will pick these up form Kieran when I'm in Glasgow next week .

I hope I'm not in need of new shells .

I've done the oil change and oil looks good so no issues there.

I picked up the s15 seats from kieran
So much better than stock leather seats

    Got them fitted tonight

Car is due MOT in the next month so gonna get it in quick and see what needs doing before putting in the diff and taking out the cats etc.

Took the car down to miles at redgaurd autospa in Forres to get the seats cleaned up as they were fairly mucky as you can see above.

They came out better than I could have imagined .

Miles wasn't happy with the bonnet as when I got it painted it wasn't really finished well. It needed some TLC that he was going to do free as it was pissing him off. I chucked him a few quid as it looked great. Gotta keep these guys sweet.

He proceeded to ask me to do a burn out . So the best I could do as the front brakes are shite. 11's .

So the standard diff locks up real good. It's still going though as I want that 2 way in asap.

Mot prep was well on the way .
Cable tied down battery (massive cable ties I stole from work )
Cable tied washer bottle into place .

S14astu helped me find out where my issue was with the horn. It apeared that someone had already been tampering with it. Hmmmmmm

With the earth problem sorted I fitted the aftermarket wheel and horn .

I also purchased 2.7 oms resistors to sort my airbag light as it was permanently on. I figured that was due to the front end think it had.
They didn't work , so I just took out the cluster and put some of my acdc back in black album cover behind it . Job done .

I did also try and resolder the joints at the back of the cluster as I am still having issues with the rev counter spazzing out.

    So ready for MOT.
Wrong ..........drove to the shops and steam pissing out engine bay.

Further investigation revealed the coolent pipe under the plenum was leaking due to those pish clips with the bolt in them . Well the clip was there but the bolt had ****ed off.

So a long long time later I managed to get a jubilee clip on there and tightened up enough so it does not leak to get it to the test station tonight.

I popped it down with 50quid extra in it just incase it needs the headlight aim and little things done to pass

Hoping he takes the hint lol

Take the money , take the money lol

So will wait and see if I can get it through

    Then diff it go in!

Oh and I found out why my gearbox is shite.

Turns out that the cap to the fluid was ****ed . New one on and it changes gear easy as **** !

Enough chatting shite . I'll upload pics soon

So a bit of an update as I have been too busy doing other shite.

So first stop was denmore garage to get Jonny mac to help fit all the lovely bits I got from Japan .

    Downpipe
    Decat
    4.1 Nismo 2 way diff.
    Strongflex gearbox mount.
    Prop extension flange .

All went well without a hitch and Jonny was home in time to feed the dog and pump the Mrs.
    Pics:

The spacer fitted so well. I mean soooooo well .
    Finished product

So my exhaust back box fell off while removing so I will need to get a new one .
The downpipe and decat change the angle of exhaust slightly so may require a custom Jobby with a flexi.

The deal is that Jonny gets to light up the tyres first.
    Vid:

The idea of doing the 200 was to do it on the cheap and deliver a decent skid car that I don't care about.

Which I have done up until this point . Staying away from fancy nardi's and generally cool shit. Function over form

Then I decide. **** it I'm buying a full dmax type 3 kit and going stage 2a with 555's and a hdev chip .
    Soon to look like this

    My old s14

So the kit was delivered to master painter Steven black for prep and paint.
    Pics

I'm still keeping the car damson so the purest out there won't take too much offence in me kitting the 14.

I picked up a job lot of ECU and injectors from 200sx Facebook group.

So I've removed the nats from the ecu ready for fitting on Friday after work.

I contacted moidfab in cupar run by Roddy sneddon . Sound guy. I was looking for a custom exhaust twin pipes with a decent silencer. Also looking for some extra lock as I've never had lock mods so I'm hoping it's awesome as **** and does not destroy my car.

I've dropped it off at moidfab to get the work done today.
So I will be looking forward to seeing the results in a few days

Also decided the only Sony tape deck has had its day so replaced for a Sony double din with Bluetooth and phone options.

    Before

    After

    So a busy time

    Things still to fit.
Oil and water braided lines .
    R33 handbrake set up .

Soon to be 320bhp damson dmax type 3 skid car

So.......... Things did not go to plan.

I'm sure lots of you have seen the pictures on the Internet of the modifications I had done at moidfab.

Safe to say I did not drive the car.
I got an aa truck home.
I will upload pics to this thread tomorrow.

Both tie rods snapped instantly as soon as I tried to move it to the curb

After sending pics to a fabricator friend. The pics soon went viral.

Alan from Miller mods garage msg me and said that he has said he had seen the poor workmanship and was glad that no one was hurt.

He offered to fix the car for less money and also get the car ready to skid for finalboss weekend on the 19th.

I also asked him to fit my R33 rear handbrake set up.

    Pictures tell the story.

I am over the moon with what Allan has done with the car. It skids great.
    Vid:

I picked up a set of 555's and an hdev 2a ecu

I fitted them before the car went down to allan.

I decided to get a personalised number plate for the Dmax 14.
    So I purchased S14 DMX

Next stop is to stevie b to get the body kit put on.
