Cheers man, the next update will be mega.

    I can't wait.

Wish my painter was not on holiday.

I've bought some +25mm vented fiber explosion wings due to the extra poke the extended arms give.

Too right! I'm still angry thinking about it now.

How someone can do that sort of a job and then let someone drive it home. RAGE-ZOR

its really good to see other tradesmen willing to chip in and help fix a bad job too. props the Miller Mod Garage.

when do you get the kit back and fitted?

Kit is already painted. Just need to go to Aberdeen on the second and let stevie b do his magic on it. Will look incredible. I can't wait.

I got the oil changed yesterday as I have only changed it one evening since getting it.

Im pretty anal about oil changes and I've never had a bottom end go.

I think I have the dredded vvt rattle again. Clacking like **** on idle.

Only happened after I replaced the injectors and ecu. Maybe woke up the vvt when I disconnected all the wiring.

Garage also loosened off the coilovers for me as one was "stuck as ****"

New radiator and cowling arrived so will be getting that fitted and bleed.

    Before

Nearly Completed minus the front bumper.
Coilover is seized solid and the wheel is fowling the bumper.

Lower at the back and some new tyres 225/40/17 and she will be mint.

Pics of the front bumper on.

Then off again lol so I can drive it lol

So a few updates on this now.

The apex coilovers are well and truly seized.

So I've bit the bullet and forked out on some hsd from driftworks.
    They get delivered monday.

That means I can travel to Aberdeen and get the front bumper put on.

I have extended fiberglass front wings in paint at stevie b's.
I have purchased a kouki fiberglass wing and is also in paint

When at driftland the car was over heating as the old rad was ****ed and no cowling. I purchased a mishimoto rad.
    Perfect fit, with original brackets.

Current look after dropping it a little

So finally got through to Aberdeen after fitting the hsd coilovers. Raised the front up so I knew the bumper would go on no worries and I'll sort the height when I'm home.

Once I got it home I propped it a few inches.
I have some clearance issues with the passenger side. Seems to have a fair bit of caster with the extra lock.

Can't really go lower or it will hit the bumper.

Lowered a bit at the back and she will be golden. Hardly a street sweeper. However I have to reverse into my road as there are speed bumps that the bus per can't clear lol

Front wings and kouki spoiler are still with Mr b being painted. It's coming together now.

I'm going to get the gearbox oil changed as it's really struggling to get into gear.

If that does not help I'll have to look at the slave cylinder etc

It's looking really smart mate, damson is such a nice colour. I think it's reasonably low enough, not worth damaging your kit, which you probably just emptied your wallet having it painted.

Who made all the fibreglass stuff mate? I'm going to be after a kouki wing sooner or later and see Byba sells them, is it any of his stuff?

Hey mate, the kit is a genuine Dmax type 3 kit.
The spoiler is from him. Just waiting for stevie to paint it for me he is a busy man as he is an epic painter.

I love the dmax kit. The lines are so good.

The next stop is cool dishy wheels. I love the R33 wheels but don't really suit the Kitted car now. Look great on the standard car.

Ah rightio, freshly painted genuine kit gives you even more of a reason not to smash it up by having the car slammed

I agree with your comment on the R33 wheels

Hopefully the spoiler fits nicely and looks spot on, let us know. His stuff is supposedly pretty damn good.

I have not updated this in a while.

I bit the bullet and got a set of hsd monopro from the lads at Driftworks.
    Purchased a vertex wheel.
Purchased a set of custom mats from eBay with the silvia logo.
Bought a new clutch cylinder as I was having issues going into gear.

Purchased a set of ssr professor in 18" 9&10j
This will really finish off the car and make it look amazing! Can't wait to have it finished.
Car is back down at Miller mods to get the sills replaced.
I bought these from the legend that is steve Richardson.

So should have the car back in the next week or 2.

Spoiler and front wings still in paint. Stevie b has had holidays and been really busy so not had chance.

Will fire up some pics of progress.

Dropped off at Millermods for some rot reduction lol

So I now have the car back from miller mods after some serious surgary.
Full sills replaced aswell as most of the inner part of the drivers floor etc.
You always Find more when you want these things done properly!
Very happy with the workmanship . Alan at miller mods is sound and delivers great results .

When collecting the car I ran into a stumbling block. When I did the Rad I thought "I'll put in coolent later "

When collecting the car alan noticed it was all fronzen up .We took the belt off and pushed the car into the unit to thaw it out.

Took aroung 3- 4 hours in the workshop before It was free of any Ice in the system. The water pump was free and time to start up.
I was worried about the engine as I hear of them cracking under a big freeze, I was hoping that the core plugs had done thier job and I had not issues.

car fan for a good 30 mins with no issues on temp. I ensured that it was blasting warm are and the system was bled right.

The car drove 3 hours home and has not skipped a beat. I took it out yesterday for an hour or so to Get it hot and see if it was looking coolent. So far so good! Fingers crossed anyways.

Due to the weather I still have not had chance to go pick up the SSR wheels from Aberdeen. They have been hit quite bad from snow and I dont fancy my chances.

Next Job is to cut out my side lights and wire them into the indicators. I currenly have the old bulb holders taped onto the indicators as a make shift holder.

Once the car has the wheels and spoiler on Ill do a quick update on here .
The car does really need an alignment after fitting the hsd as soon as I am on throttle it pulls to the right .

So finally got the car together with the ssr professors on.
Dmax kit on and kouki wing.
    Side lights and indicators done.
    Alignment done.

    This is her

Tried a little black datsun logo on the wing. I'm not sure I like it. But time will tell.

Vvt sprocket badly needs done. Will do the spray bars at the same time.

The car is looking rad, kinda wish my car was damson. I'm not keen on the vinyl on the wing personally,it looks way cleaner without it.
