Excited S15 Type R owner here!

    Hi All,

Hopefully picking up my new motor shortly so I thought I would poke my head around t'interweb and find fellow owners.

It will be our first imported Nissan but not our first Jap import (already have a Mazda Bongo).

Bear with me if I ask seemingly stupid questions although I will do forum searches first before asking.

Plans are to go to Japfest at Donington in July after we went to Silverstone at the end of April and really enjoyed it.

So, that's my first post done so... Hello all

Welcome, I'm sure you'll find this forum really useful. Any questions I have, I find this the first place to go to.

Hi and welcome to the club!
Just one bit of advice, put good tyres on the back and take your time to get used to it

You only need two tools in life - wd-40 and duct tape. If it doesn't move and should, use the wd-40. If it shouldn't move and does, use the duct tape.

And if you can't fix it with a hammer, you've got an electrical problem!

    Thanks for the welcome all.

I picked up the car on Friday and have loved every second of it!

It will be making an appearance at Japfest in July and I hope to get along to a track day when confidence builds.

Bodywork needs a good going over with a clay bar then its photo time.

The car is pretty much stock apart from a headlamp change to projectors and a mushroom air filter. I'm planning on keeping it standard as I like the understated look.

Not keen on the headlights but I like the colour of this.
