Windscreen mold Removal to inspect rust bubble

    Windscreen mold removal,
Have a bubble of rust forming above the windscreen, want to get in and look at it and see if I need to remove the windscreen to get it repaired properly,
Checking the service manual it looks like the molding is just sitting in and bonded to the windscreen glue,
Is it just a case of getting a hold of it and pulling it out?
Will I be able to reuse it afterwards?

They're not easy to remove, you'll need to replace it afterwards. Nissan have seals in the the uk, about £130.

Personally I wouldn't try it myself in case I damaged the glass.

Just did it today, pulled off the drivers side wind and got a vice grips around the bottom of it where it wouldn't be seen, once I could get my hand on it I slowly pulled it off and it came out and I'm confident I can reuse it, found loads of surface rust that needs addressing
