So I'm half way through a reshell and rebuilding the turbo was going to be a move I was going to make.
I am going to go for a bigger turbo now, how far can I go without changing the gearbox?

They seem to give up about 350 but it depends on how many miles it's done and what sort of driving you do

Stress on the gearbox depends on a few things:
Torque transmitted
Oil
How "abusive" you are
Rate of torque increase
The last one is going to depend on turbo frame size and how it is mapped. Do you want it to be responsive or rip at the top end? More responsive along with ramming through gears will probably break a box faster than a larger turbo and driving it "sensibly".
