    Manual conversion

    Hi guys
    Wanting to convert my .CA s13 to manual I'm want to keep the engine and go to 250bhp maybe 300, will the standard ca 5 speed handle this or will it shit it self if so what box shall I put in ?

    Also any other info on bits to buy for it would be great

    A healthy CA box will live with 300 all day. Refurbish or upgrade the brakes so it stops as well as it goes and don't lower it too much or it will suffer mystery electrical maladies.

    A good quality GL4 gear oil wont hurt, check Opie the oil man on here for good advise on all oil's/fluids to use in a 200
    it must be a GL4,not GL4/5 or GL5 due to bronze syncro rings

    OP make sure you tuck your wiring loom into the fenders if you plan on going low, otherwise you'll rub through it. Lots of guides online
