    Ca18det ecu help ?

i have a auto converted to manual 89' s13 using a 68 44f10 ecu looking to pick up a spare ecu but finding it difficult to find matching codes, can anyone them be swapped ? Will any non lamba ecu work or does it need to be the same? thanks in advance

I believe any non lambda will work, as long as it is manual of course

That code is for an early Prefacelift auto. If it's chipped, a any 44fxx ECU will do you. If it's not chipped you should be looking for 44f0x

It's been converted to manual currently running stage 1 chip, just looking to get a spare to test see if it sorts some problems out so any non lamba ecu will works long as it's 44F0x ? Thanks for the replies

A 44f1x will also work if it is socketed or has a manual chip fitted.

An auto non chipped ecu will work in a manual car.

The fuelling will be wrong though as the OEM auto chip is designed to work with the auto gearing apparently.

Its also why H-D do an auto chip and a manual chip.

Don't ask me for more details coz I just read it on the internet, innit
